NHS e-Learning Readiness Toolkit
NHS organisations are using the e-Learning Readiness Toolkit, developed by the Red E team. The NHS toolkit is for all NHS organisations providing advice, guidance and resources for planning an approach to e-Learning.“The rollout of the National Programme for IT (NPfIT) requires NHS staff to be trained in a wide variety of new systems and services. e-Learning is proving to be a key tool for ensuring that NHS staff are suitably trained before any new IT system is implemented. The e-Learning Readiness Toolkit provides NHS e-Learning developers, trainers and training managers with everything they need in order to measure the maturity of the e-Learning provision within their organisation.” Connecting for Health
The NHS needed their toolkit to provide information about topics related to e-learning including popular learning models, champion programmes and ways of managing change. The NHS toolkit was developed after research into maturity models and extensive stakeholder involvement. It was then developed further for Skills for Health and the Skills Academy for Health.
